My daughter got me some hand made Vietnamese Zo paper. Anybody has experience with this kind of paper? Can I use it for watercolors? Love to hear your thoughts and knowledge about this. #zopaper#handmade
#winter#dutch I grew up in an argicultural community and although I now live thousands of miles away, I'm still enchanted by agriculture scenes. In the winter, it seems to me, the world and nature are standing still, frozen, waiting to wake up again in the spring. There's beauty in every season.

A month ago I visited the wonderful exhibition of #picasso blue and rose in #museedeorsay . I was deeply touched by his early work. Picasso mastered drawing and painting at a very early age. Later on he said that all his life he tried to forget and free himself from what he learned at a young age so he can reinvent himself and his art. I found that in this early stage if his brilliant career, being poor, unknown, lonely and foreign, he produced his most sensitive, emotionally connected and beautiful work. This is a real for me.
Here is somthing personal. A couple of months ago very dear friends, with whom we shared our lives for few good years, left the country and moved on. I wanted to give them a significant goodbye present that will not only serve as a memoire but also will represent well their time here. I painted a portrait of their house so they can hang it in the new house.
