I went with a group on an 11-mile hike through Bull of the Woods Wilderness in Saturday. Beautiful views at the old lookout of Mts. Hood, Jefferson, Adams, the Three Sisters, and the sprawling Cascade Mountain Range. Long drive to get there but a GREAT hike. . . Found an interesting pompom flower which made me feel like I was in the ocean if I stared at them long enough, the way they float up and curve. It was a 20° temp increase throughout the day but I took layers on purpose. My Camelbak 2.5L pack held plenty of water ...
