I harvested this season's first batch of garlic today. If you've never grown garlic then give it a try this fall. It's ridiculously easy and the taste of homegrown garlic is out of this world. #garlic#garlicharvest
This needs something and I can't decide what. I went with a sea green and blue background because that's literally the closest I'm ever going to get to a beach this summer. Maybe I should do some sort of corally oceany outlines too... I don't know. Anyway. Yes. I'm still on the floor. #art#flowers
This one's inspired by @chicken_ham 's rec of Pools by Glass Animals. I seriously think i'll remake this one day when i have a tablet cause im so pleased with it but it would look so much better in color! #art#drawing
Applying the same principles of a vertical garden to this horizontal garden bed. Looking forward to seeing it grow and all work together with some of this beautiful sun we’ve been getting this week, and a little bit of rain. #greenery#plants
My cat whiskers plant has little buds on it, can't wait for the pretty white flowers! Butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds love it 😍 they really do look like cat whiskers, I'll definitely share a picture of them when blooming. This plant is also used to make "java tea" which has been used to treat kidney, liver, and gallbladder issues as well as arthritis and other ailments. #catwhiskers#javateaplant
Potatoes have sprouted new life!! They are both growing differently yet healthy it's only been 5 days! Also pictured are carrots & green onions with 2 days in between pics. Unfortunately, the carrots will not produce new fruit just sprout new life at the top. 😃 #gardening#magic

Begonia maculata Interesting Facts According to legend, a girl named Polja Dot Begonia died under the paws of hungry wolves in order to save her father. When villagers brought her back to the village, her blood spilled all the way. Later, the place spilled with blood was covered with red mountain flowers. They named these flowers after the girl. #begoniamaculata#calgaryplant ...
I have a thing with heart leaf shaped plants. If I see one I must have it. Here we have my homalomena. I used to keep her by the window of my room, but either the light was too dim, or I didn’t water her as much as I should have so I ended up with browning edges and a yellow leaf. Then I moved her out in our lanai, and placed her ontop of a pot of soil, she started growing like mad. I hope I get her to flower so I can smell the aniese scent her flowers ...
