Feeling super blessed coming from the bottom of Africa, living in the Middle Mediterranean and now having the privilege to see the amazing top world that is Iceland, what more? #imlivingmybestlife#blessed
Þingvellir is a national park lying in a rift valley that marks the boundary between North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. AlÞing, the national parliament established in 930 A.D., used to gather in this place. What you see in the picture is Almannagja, a canyon with basaltic walls on the west side of the park.
Borůvková sezóna na Islandu je v plném proudu. Pro Islanďany je sběr borůvek a ostatních bobulí něco jako pro Čechy houbaření. Nutno podotknout, že na Islandu moc jiných věcí ke sběru neroste😀. #snezmegastrotour#iceland
After picking up our @campeasyiceland van and doing the groceries, we spent the night in Reykjavik campground. We left early in the morning to meet our pickup for snorkeling silfra. Only problem we went to the wrong hostel but also they forgot to get us from the right one as well. Shit happens and sometimes you end up having more fun in the process. We still made it to silfra and on the plus scored an amazing lunch recommendation in the process. If you’re after a brilliant lobster soup head to sægreifinn and thank me later. . . #iceland ...
Hiked a bit in the rift between the North American tectonic plate and the Eurasian plate in Thingvellir National Park. Iceland is the only place in the world where this rift is above sea-level and it moves apart a few centimeters each year. Equal parts fun and terrifying. . . . . #iceland#thingvellirnationalpark
“It’s not what happens, it’s how you handle it”-John Giorno . . . That’s exactly what I’m thinking of today as I’m trying to handle this humidity. It’s hard to remember ever being cold. Iceland was pretty cold. I’m usually not a fan of cold weather, but I’d so take that over this today. Do you prefer the warm or cold weather? ☀️or ❄️? . . . . . #summertime#humidity
