When star gazing, you lie belly up on whichever ground and be fully vulnerable; both to the elements and the beauty of the sky. In this way, one can so easily imagine falling feet first into the heavens that you can spend hours upon hours just lying there, never for a moment in doubt and fueled by the belief that gravity is a very bothersome thing.
I slept to the sound of the waves being tossed against the shore, dragging grit and sand between their nails as they were slowly pulled back out to sea.
