While abroad, Clark used sound editing softwares such as Pro Tools and Logic Pro X. He also studied cinematography and used RED studio cameras. Congrats to recent graduate and Bagheera senior editor, Eva Thomas! When asked about her future plans, Thomas said: "This summer I am getting my 'Teaching English as a Foreign Language' certification while also working as a youth intern at a local church. Then I hope to go abroad in the fall, most likely Jordan." Thomas received her BA in English literature, and she won an award in Arabic studies on Honors Day. She has worked on the Bagheera staff as a journalist for over a year. Wish her well because this girl's going places!

Meet Julie Guilloteau, a first-year master’s student from France who came to BSC last year to study abroad! “Hi, I’m Julie Guilloteau, I study psychology at a fourth-year school. I went at BSC last year, all year, as an exchange student between my university in Tours, France and BSC. My BSC experience was so great! I had a blast.”

Meet graduating BSC senior, Rachel Waller! Waller is an art major and a psychology minor. When Waller graduates, Waller says she has a full time multi-media/graphic design position lined up for Birmingham city schools. We asked her what she liked most about BSC: " Honestly, I really love those campus cats...but on a serious note, I enjoy that that this is a small campus, so it is easier to get to know someone here. I feel like I have made some lifelong friends.” We'll miss you, Rachel Waller! Go forth and conquer.

A few posts ago, a lot of conversation sparked in our comments section, and we LOVED to hear your opinions. With that being said, what does everyone think of the controversial Senior Gift Campaign that asks you to donate your housing deposit to BSC instead of giving it back to your parents/gaurdians/keeping it yourself? (Page featured from our latest BLASTgheera special.) COMMENT OR VOTE IN OUR STORY!

What should you do while you wait for our next Bagheera issue? Bagheera the panther says read the last one, of course! Before we leave the woke issue, we'd like to highlight some of the artists. "I’ve been at BSC since 2011. Before I came here, I was in the English department at UAB. Before that I worked as a consultant for an environmental business-to-business startup, GreenThink.com. Before that – in the late ’90s – I was a writer and content director for a comedy website called Hecklers Online."
